Financial Institution Litigation - The Firm represents clients in all aspects of offensive and defensive litigation, including the defense of lender liability claims, violations of state and federal securities laws, and the enforcement of financial instruments, including the foreclosure of real and personal property.

General Civil Litigation - The Firm's attorneys represent financial institutions, developers, property owners and businesses in general, and practice commercial and contract litigation, construction and surety bond litigation, and real property litigation throughout the various stages of litigation, including pre-trial matters, trial practice and appellate litigation. The Firm also represents clients in pre-litigation efforts to efficiently resolve legal disputes through arbitration and mediation proceedings.

Appellate Practice and Litigation Support - The Firm represents its clients in all aspects of state and federal appellate practice, including the review of lower court decisions via petitions for extraordinary writs. The Firm's appellate attorneys also provide litigation support during lower tribunal proceedings through motion practice and legal research in order to preserve potential issues on appeal.

Real Estate Litigation - A substantial part of the Firm's practice is focused on the representation of owners and developers of real estate in both litigation and the resolution of real estate disputes through negotiation. The Firm often represents clients in the resolution of complex real estate and lease disputes, including disputes concerning the valuation of commercial real property, and works closely with experts and consultants to achieve the best results possible.

Real Estate Law and Transactions - The Firm represents clients in all aspects of the acquisition, sale, development, syndication, and leasing of commercial and residential properties. These clients include developers, builders and owners of commercial and residential real estate.

Bankruptcy - Our extensive experience in bankruptcy is often employed in the Firm's representation of financial institutions, property owners and landlords.

Commercial Transactions, Banking and Corporate Law - The Firm often structures and documents commercial transactions for domestic and international businesses. Financial institutions regularly call upon the Firm's attorneys to negotiate and document sophisticated lending transactions secured by real estate and various types of personal property. In addition, the Firm regularly assists investors in the formation of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships and provides advice regarding the governance of such business entities.

Workouts and Loan Restructurings - The Firm has extensive experience representing lenders in connection with the restructuring of defaulted loans, loan modifications and forbearance transactions.  The Firm's Transactional and Litigation Departments work closely together to document such transactions in a manner that enhances the client's position and options in the event it becomes necessary to pursue legal remedies. 

Municipal Bonds and Securities - The Firm regularly represents municipalities, bond underwriters and corporate trustees in the public offering and private placement of municipal securities. These transactions include new money and refunding issues and defaulted bonds. The Firm also represents lenders in letter of credit backed financings and tax exempt bond restructurings, and renders advice concerning compliance with SEC disclosure rules and regulations.
