Dora F. Kaufman

Dora F. Kaufman is an AV-rated partner in the law firm of Liebler, Gonzalez & Portuondo, P.A.,
where she practices primarily in the areas of complex commercial litigation, banking law, creditors'
rights, bankruptcy, and debtor and creditor workouts. Ms. Kaufman is admitted to practice before
the Florida Bar (1988), the District of Columbia Bar, the United States District and Bankruptcy
Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida and the United States Courts of
Appeals for the Eleventh and Federal Circuits. She received her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, and
her J.D. degree from Georgetown University.

She has actively served as an appointed member of the Florida Bar's Civil Procedure Rules
Committee (CPRC), the Federal Court Practice Committee (FCPC)(including service as appointed
vice chair), and the Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee (JNPC), and presently serves on the
Judicial Administration and Evaluation Committee (JAEC) of the Florida Bar. She has contributed
toward preparation ofa trial practice manual for Bancroft Publishing; prepared sections of reference
manuals on Florida foreclosure and related title, repossession and bankruptcy issues for the National
business Institute; and serves as faculty at multiple CLE seminars.

Ms. Kaufman has served as a facilitator of Federal Judicial roundtable discussions with Federal
Judges at programs hosted by the FCPC of the Florida Bar and presented at annual Florida Bar
meetings, and as a trainer/mock interviewer at Judicial Nominating Commission training presented
by the JNPC. She is a longstanding member of the Federal Bar Association, has served as an
appointed member ofthe Board ofDirectors/Executive Committee of the Federal Bar Association's
Broward County Chapter (FBA), and has hosted/coordinated FBA-sponsored Federal District Court
orientation programs at the United States District Court.
