Marta Acosta is an associate of the firm, and a member of litigation department. Ms. Acosta joined our firm in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Acosta was an associate at a commercial litigation firm in Coral Gables.
Ms. Acosta began her legal education at the University of Warsaw, Poland, where in 2001 she earned a Master of Laws degree in civil law. During her studies of the civil legal system, she completed a European Union and English Law Program held by Cambridge University, and chose the regulation and practice of mergers in the European Union as the theme of her master's thesis.
Ms. Acosta studied comparative and international law at the University of Illinois College of Law where in 2004 she received an LL.M. degree. She then earned a Juris Doctor degree from the same institution.
